On December 17, a cybersecurity seminar was organized by the Cyber Club at the Social-Economic College under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
The main objective of the seminar was to improve students’ cybersecurity knowledge and digital skills, as well as to prepare them for real industry environments. As part of the seminar, a selection process conducted by the Baku Technology Center resulted in 10 students from the college being accepted into an internship program.
The internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in an industrial environment, while strengthening cooperation between the college and industry partners.
The seminar featured invited experts including Shahin Aliyev, Chief Executive Officer of the Baku Technology Center, and Ismayil Asadov, Cybersecurity Trainer at the Baku Technology Center.
Such events organized by the Cyber Club contribute significantly to enhancing students’ readiness for the labor market and supporting their professional development.
